Romel's passion for music began at the Bulbul Lalitakala Academy, where he trained and honed his skills. The band released their first album in 1985, followed by a second in 1987. Romel also released two solo albums in the 1990s and is an enlisted artist with Bangladesh Television (BTV). In addition to her professional achievements, Mehejabin is a proud wife and mother. Her husband, Badrul, has served in government for over 25 years as a Technology Services Manager. Together, they have been happily married for 25 years and are the parents of two children: Ahona, who currently attends Emory University, and Arvin, a student at Peachtree Ridge High School.

Outside of work, Mehejabin enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, experimenting with new recipes, going for peaceful walks, and traveling to new destinations.

A strong believer in community service, Mehejabin has long desired to contribute to volunteer organizations.
